Our Dream house Phase IV: Hacking & Wiring Process

Started with the wiring process, there goes our house with all the holes around. The wiring started with hacking the necessary hole for plug extension, wiring for air cond hose, wiring for downlight and other light points.

Our house become so ugly with all the hole on the wall, just can't stand seeing those hole............. Arghhhhhh so freaking annoyed with all the holes.. wtf. I just can't stop mentioning about the hole, as there really many hole. I turn right and left, all surrounded with holes.

Anyway, I know that the holes will be patch soon.. God, please get these holes out of my sight. =.="""
Hahhahaha! I'm so annoying isn't it? Anyway, let's show some photos of those holesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss..

Hole out of our house.. These are the holes for air cond, and auto gate wiring.

And another hole, for air cond hose.

Hole again, these are the hole for plug extension.

Another long row of hole for extra plug outside the house for vacuum (washing car)
Hole for plug extension

BIGGGGGGGGG hole after hacking our kitchen wall , to make the door bigger. Our existing door is way smaller than standard size width. I doubt we can fit in our fridge with this small size.

Another hole, this is for room plug extension

Hole at master bedroom for air cond

Hole for air cond hose in 2nd room

Ok enough with the holes, and let's move to next stage :)

Finally, all the hole was skim and patched! :)

No more holes :)

Our Dream House Phase III : Kitchen Extension

To continue... Finally the wall is up from phase II, now it's the roof turn, we not building concrette roof where it mean for future 2nd floor extension as wo do not plan for top floor extension. With that, we decided that we only need normal roof. The contractor started to build the wood which used to hold the roof, and then he place all the pieces onto the wood piles.
Bulding the base for the roof..

Scenery from the back

Hmmm, I was wondering whether these few wood enough to cater the heavy zink roof..

Suprisingly, yes it is enough to cater.. and now they have been convering the roof..

Tadaaaaaaaa!! The roof is up and the plastering also has been completed as well ...

Our Dream House Phase II : Start Renovation

Wow, since the writting of my house phase I, we have been busy running around to settle down our house matter, yet to have any times to document the progress and process accordingly. Hehehe!

Here are some of the photos which document the process of the overall renovation from nothing to something.

We started the renovation on 13th May 2012, you must be wondering how do we get this date. My auntie, Yen Mae recommended us to go a temple in PJ (very deep inside the housing area), where he always went for praying. Pay RM2-RM10 where you can get "someone obssessed by a GOD" to ask for anything. Vincent pay RM10 to ask for a suitable date to kick off the renovation date, while I pay RM10 to ask for my luck in lottery! HAHAHAH! No la.. Other than this, I also asked for my career whether is there any "wan san" in my working place : "he said : there is wan san anywhere! So must bear with it".. Aduh... Means ask also useless...  ahahhaah!

Anyway, we got the date and there we go on Sunday purposely to hump the door little bit, just to indicate that we have started the renovation.

HUMP HUMP!!! Jeng jeng jeng... here we started the renovation officially... officially from both us..
Why we started with backyard, because we decide to extend out kitchen :) Wolla!!! Can't wait to see it.
At first, our Indon-contractor (Ari) which we engaged after few comparison somehow to be the cheapest among others who quote us less than RM10,000 for the back extension, and suprisingly his plaster ceiling also appear to be the cheapest as well, less than RM3,000 for whole house plastering. *praying hard that his workmanship is NOTTTTTTTTTTTTT bad and aceptable level considering his cheapest rate among all - pray kuat kuat*

He started on 14th May 2012, Monday.. Started with the removal of the back gate and also made 3 big holes align with the drain. I was wondering what does the 3 holes is all about, then he explain it is used to bury all the "kayu bakau" underneath to ensure the ground is strong enough.

Can you see the holes?

Nearer close up vision... 3 holes align with each other.

And soon all these wood will be buried underneath the holes..

There you go with all the kayu bakau in the holes.. Some of my friend asked "why not steel but wood", and I said... Hmmmm... Because I don't plan for top floor extension, so kayu bakau is sufficient.

Another hole... I started to document all the hole to ensure I know how many kayu is inside the hole, so I can sue the Indon-contractor if my house somehow out of order.. CHOIIIIIIIIIII!!! Touch wood.. >.<

Next step.. He covered all the hole with cement.. and he has put some steep bar surrounding the edge with concrette cement. Ok at least I know he is using steel and adding concrette beam to the underneath.

Within a week, he has build the wall. Not bad.. fast isn't? :)

And babe start measuring the size...

Start taking and document out all the material that they used.. U know, just incase I want to build my house later..  hahahaha!

Full of materials.. and So afraid the thing will scratch my tiles T_T

Ok, let's move back, they build the beam above the window area, and build the window hole for the window frame.

They placed the frame for door as well.

Oh, and manage to snap how they twist the wire to strengthen the steel which used for beam at the back of kitchen.

Still got alot of things going on and stay tune :)

Preparation for ROM Part II

To continue with our preparation for ROM Part I.......

ROM Photo shoot
Finally after searching around, we manage to find affordable photographer for our ROM day for unlimited shot, and personal outdoor photo shooting! Cheap isn't? Of course, as we are looking for our family photographer, KB. KB took the photos for both my sisters, Stephanie and May for their pre-wedding &Wedding Dinner.

So I took the initiative to try my luck to ask the rate from him and surprisingly, it is the cheapest among all, and most importantly Vincent also think it is not that expensive. :) *HIGH FIVE*

ROM Official Date
For those who followed our initial ROM date, originally it was planned on 11th August 2012, which falls on the next closest date to our anniversary and which is fall on Saturday.

So we thought August is far from the actual date, 2 months before. Long isn't? So we plan to find the right date to go over to submit our application. So coincidence, both of us took leave on one of the Monday, so we go to submit the application.

We have decided to held the ceremony at JPN Putrajaya, so we went to JPN reaching around 8:00am.Manage to be the first one, but received a bad news
"The date you choose has been fully occupied!".. And I was what? We are like 2 months early, and the date was full? You gonna be kidding isn't?

Then the officer explained, they will only allow 5 couples for ceremony on weekend (Saturday). And unfortunately, the next available date is only on October. And I was like wtf again.. Huh?? October? Luckily I'm not in hurry to get register, U know well... not because of emergency to rush for wedding. Hahahahahah!!

And after a while, I started to calm down and said, Ohhh it's okay. Not a big deal anyway, as our actual wedding dinner will not fall in this year anyway. Lolx! Then we started to choose other date in October, most importantly checking Chinese lunar calendar whether it is suitable for wedding or not. Vincent started to call his mom to check on the "horse calendar" hahahaha!

It took us so long to confirm the date, so we gave our way to other couples/people who want to utilize the counter. After check and check again, the next date 6th October is not good for wedding, so we choose 13th October 2012 (also falls on my brother's birthday) hahahah! So he can remember the date on behalf of us, and remind Vincent just in case he forget. =.="

So we went to the counter again, and when she flipping the registration schedule booklet, I saw some empty rows in some of the pages, and requesting her to double confirm again whether is there any more slots for Saturday , which is earlier than October. You know, I'm quite "han ka de", so want to marry fast fast! lolx!

Then another suprise, she said "Got, 29th September still got one slot, you want?"... And again shock by her and I quickly ask Vincent to check with her mother again. Aduh.. So troublesome...in choosing a date.. Finally, yes the date is ok for wedding and taddaaa!! Our final ROM date choose to be on 29th September 2012. Yuhu~ Finally.. ~
Reaching JPN Putrajaya @ 8:00am

BAHAGIAN PERKAHWINAN .. Please ignore the divorce wording.. lolx

And they will post our photos here for 2 weeks (I think before the actual date, maybe)?
