Learning to cook

Since the completion of our house (specifically the kitchen), I started to do simple cooking and learning to become a housewife wtf! Not really housewife la, just that now I have my own kitchen to mess with la, you know well, my private kitchen to play masak masak... And mainly I can't mess up much with the kitchen at my parent's house mainly because it belongs to MY MUM, the MAHARANI!

If I did not clean it properly, she will start raising her tone with high pitch saying "WHY YOU DID NOT CLEAN THIS, WHY NEVER CLOSE THE BOTTLE PROPERLY, bla bla bla bla!! Hahahah! So to prevent any unwanted "singing session" at home, rather cook maggie enough :) The most, she just say why I did not put the pan/plate properly after boiling the maggie. LOLX!

Come back to my cooking, since I own my private kitchen now #proudface, I can cook whatever I want. Of course, I have "new" asisstance in helping me wash the dishes/plates/pan after cooking! Yuhhu~~ Don't jeles!

Nevertheless, trying my best to cook "can-swallow" dishes for my babe, hopefully he won't complain too much on the dishes, and THANK GOD ALHAMDULLAH he's not a picky one in choosing food. *hug babe*

Why I say so, because he will eat or sapu everything I cook without leaving any evidence! Just like bandaraya MBSA, MPSJ, MPPJ cleaning all the rubbish in each house's dustbin. Haha! Not that I say he eaten the rubbish but just the terms of describing him being "cincai" in eating :)

Here to showoff some of the simple dishes that I had prepare so far, to document whether I got improvement or not, or whether my skills getting better and better or to capture whether am I getting lazier by cooking deterioration level of dish every time.

Start with American breakfast :) Toasting the bread

Black soy sauce chicken, with luncheon egg

Then proceed with mix meats fried rice

Also cook another American breakfast with hot dogs with bake beans and also the fried mee (by Tobby)

This also not bad! Steam lady finger with garlic oil + Soy sauce chicken with potato

Continue to improve little bit with Steam tauhu with vegetable, together with mince chicken with prawn!

Recently boil A.B.C Soup (with pork rib, sweet corn, potato, carrots)

And latest today : Mince chicken with steam egg, steam vegetables with oyster sauce and fried spring roll!
And I felt so happy I can cook so much! HAHAHA! Mainly because everyone keep on saying :
"Your kitchen so nice, YOU GOT COOK OR NOT?"

And now I can proudly to answer now :
"YES!!!!!! I CAN COOK DE!!"

"Smelly Fart"

I am busy watching "The Voice" video using my notebook, while my hubby busy watching "TVB Drama" using my mini-notebook.

All out of sudden, I smell something not right, and I proceed to ask ;
"Babe, YOU FARTED??!!!"

Then Vincent answered (shamelessly)
"I sakit perut.." *mata sepet open widely*

Then babe continue laugh loudly and continue to ask
"Got smell meh?"

*PIAKKKKK!!!* Immediately I hit on babe's shoulder scolding him for farting on my bed without informing me so I can get away while waiting the fart to evaporate to the air! hahahahahah!

And babe continue to laugh happily, me too! I lurve the time both of us laugh like this! Hopefully we could laugh like this all the time (OF COURSE NOT ASKING HIM TO FART!!! wtf!!)

How do u feel after getting married?

How do you feel after married?

This is the question where both Vincent and I have been hearing again and again after our solemnization of marriage last Saturday.

Now, before we proceed, let’s play a game, answer this question without using your brain to think

“WHAT IS YOUR REASON FOR GETTING MARRIED?”
*Don’t think! Just answer based on your quickest instinct!!!!*

Next question à

“HOW U FEEL AFTER GETTING MARRIED?”
*Don’t think! Just answer based on your quickest instinct!!!!*

Got answer? Ok, write your answers down on a piece of paper!

Proceed with the hot question, this question make me started to think for the fact and real answer for this question despite where both of us should be having this answer even before last Saturday.

I used to ask myself, “Am I ready to get married?  “Am I ready to become a wife?”  Then soon upgrade the status to become a mother.

I know my age is ready (wtf! Quite old already!) to become a women instead of xiao mei mei who is lingering around just to earn my salary.
I know financially I’m ready to commit to a tougher life becoming a wife to support the expenses of a family.
I know I’m mentally little bit ready to commit a life to my partner, sharing everything include telling him how many armpit hair I have wtf!
I know I’m ready with my new life with Vincent including doing all sort of things as his wife (wash toilet, wash clothes, wash bedsheet, wash plates, cook rice, boil soup! Wtf!).

But somehow, today read about an article talking about the reason of getting married and the reason for not getting married. Although it’s not really reflecting how I felt and think, but something that make all of us think deeply of each and every decision that we will make and made.  Some of my colleague/friend claim they do not want to get marry for now, some of them they will get marry after 2 years/3 years, some of them wondering whether is there any meaning for getting married, some of them enjoy their marriage life (just like me after the signing, enjoy to see the happy photos captured during our registration, starring for the photos almost like few days non-stop), some of them questioned whether should they get married in the first place.

Now, what’s your answer on your sheet of paperWhat is your reason for getting married?

Because you wish to get pregnant and become mummy/daddy? Because you want to make love officially (#hamsap )?
Because you want to officially settle your single life?
Because you want stop wondering around to look for your so-called PREFECT Mr Right and Ms Right?
Because your family pushing you to get marry so can deliver grandson-grand-daughter for them wtf!?
Because you can’t survive being alone, so quickly tie your partner so he/she can’t run away from your “5-finger-mountain (em-chi-san)”?

Or just because you love your partner so much and want to spend the rest of your life with him/her?  *rolling eyes* Have you (married, going to marry soon, or single reader) think of it before?

Now, what’ the answer for HOW U FEEL AFTER GETTING MARRIED?

i)                    *speechless*

ii)                   *think for long time* - “Happy”

iii)                 *without thinking* - “Happy”

iv)                 Immediate answer – “Nothing”

v)                  *jumping* HAPPY!!!! *high pitched sound*

vi)                 *Blushing* Happy~ *and use palm covering mouth *act shy*

vii)               *showing sad face* - “Ok loooooooooooooo ma like that… nothing different also”

Each of these answer represent something mentally and physically. You may want to answer (without thinking) and evaluate your answer to judge whether you really want to get marry or just for the sake of just want to get marry?

If you had the answer in your heart, just work towards it to make your life enjoyable regardless you are single or married ! I hope I will too J

Our ♥ ROM ♥ 29th September 2012

Tick tock tick tock~~
Tick tock tick tock~~

Time is ticking so fast~ And finally the big day has arrived whereby Vincent & I to be officially announced as "husband & wife". *blushing blushing*

Before the actual day (eve's night - 28th September 2012), both of us are on leave to ensure everything are well prepared, hopefully manage to cover all the last minute preparation before the actual day.

Early early morning we went to Petaling Street to buy the hand bouquet. Originally as I blogged in Part IV, I deciced to DIY the hand bouquet myself considering the expensive price after surveyed few florist shop nearby. And from mom's word, got to know Petaling Street is the place whereby alot of florist get their flower from (warehouse for florist), so tunggu apa lagi...! And quickly book mom's time to accompany me to go there on eve's. And another happy thing, my aunt also following us, together gather choosing my hand bouquet.

Suprisingly, the price for a hand bouquet there is muchhhhhhhhhhhhhh much cheaper than the rate that I surveyed. As mentioned above, min RM100 is needed from the shop at Kemuning and guess what I bought it at RM40 leh~ Hallo, save like RM60 lehhh~ #happyface#

Choosing flower to be.. Purple Daisy? White rose?

Choose, and in wrapping process

White-pinkish petal (outside) and pink petal (inside) choosen~ Naice or not?

Then after back from KL, then we heading to get the helium balloon mainly for photoshooting the next ealr morning. We headed to Taipan Ballon Buzz Party to get our balloon, and unfortunately normal helium balloon can only stand 8 hours max but we need to get ready for photoshooting at 7am and I don't think there is any balloon shop open so early wtf! Luckily I clever call them to ask before for longer-lasting-helium balloon. And clever me for expecting it to be little more expensive compare to normal helim balloon. wtf!

Normal helium balloon cost us @ RM3.00 while longer-lasting balloon cost us @ RM4.50 per balloon. Sighh~ And I bought in total 16 balloon in total (you do the calculation wtf again). Anyway, once in a lifetime, and thank god the photos effect proven me being clever again making the right decision with the balloon as props! hahahah! *taktaumalu face*

The neutral color baloonnnnnnnnnnnn Nice or not the color combination? :)

Balloon from another side..

P/S : Bad Vincent for blowing one of the balloon when he transporting the bunch of balloon into the house! I was in the kitchen and all out of sudden BOOOOMMMMMMMM!!! and tadaaaaaaaaaa.. there goes my RM4.50! *$$$$ flying up to sky***

The proceed to iron Vincent's shirt "kasi licin licin", then proceed to do a test on my hair for the day. Halo, first time using wig hair and abit kan chiong considering I do not have enough time to tie it nicely when we need to reach Putrajaya at 7am... *fainted*

My ideal hair look, hopefully to create the BOB look like this.
Actual hair do for the day.. Ok la.. not that much difference is it? LOLX!
And finally my manicure and pedicure being done at 12am wtf! *sleepyface*. This is crucial so the photos can looks nicer (when Vincent wearing the ring for me *touching*) Hahahaha!

Nah~ My DIY manicure (of course will not show u my leg to prove to you I did my toes as well at 12am Haha!)
Finally, I can sleep at 1:30am, where by I need to wake up at 5:00am to groom myself! Aduhh~~~ No wonder I got a big eye bag on my photos hahaha! Anyway, KB can always touch it up for me *begging KB-our photographer for the day*

Jeng jeng Jeng! here it goes the pointers for our Big Day~

We woke up early morning (me @ 5am, Vincent @ 5:30am), start to prepare ourself (bath, pee, poo, make up, style our hair, wear our leng chai-leng lui dress, etc)... As expected, 1 hr 30 mins is really not enough for ME to prepare and ended up we late for 30 minutes. *fainted*

The worse thingy for the day is where I forgotten to take my phone when we locked all our doors and get ready to depart, and as usual Vincent with his mumble "I told you, I told you...", and as usual me showing my boh-song-ness face and die-die roll back to get my phone. T_T Anyway, in my heart I keep on whispering to myself :

"Relax Elaine, this is your big day.. Must happy happy de~ You are the most cool and prettiest bride for the day, don't let the stupid iPhone spoil your day! SMILEEEEEEE"

*then continue to turn to right and stare on my handsome and smart hubby, everything seems to work perfect by then*

We reach Putrajaya car park at 7:30am, and waited for 10 minutes for KB, our photographer for the day to arrive. Then we quickly hop into KB's car, and heading quickly to location nearby for our outdoor photoshoot.

Stop at the bridge where all the cars are passing by.. so dangerous, but yet we still smile happily.. the first photo of the day

Vincent trying to feel my buttock in every shot! HAHAHAHHA!

Then we went to rock nearby (I was barefoot steppingonto the rocks ok)

Nah.. show my leng foot wtf...... Very risk to take this photo ok...hahah!

This also not bad, where I need to sacrify my white and new dress sitting on the side of the lake. Very gentlemen KB when he offered his MacBook cover to let me sit on it. No worry, my ass is very clean too! hahaha!

Pretending cool liddat~ :p

Warm and cool photo.. one of my favourite shot for the day

We also being ask to sit on the swing and pretend chit-chat happily LOLX!

See, very happily right.. Like can potray "Live happily after wedding like that" HAHAHHA!

ONE OF MY FAVOURITE PHOTO!! very nice shot where potray our close and sweet moment before signing the paper ~ Maybe will develop it become poster and stick on our wall! LOLX!
After 45 minutes wondering around to take photos, we depart and back to JPN putrajaya for our registration. The counter starts at 9am and hopefully to welcome our beloved families before the actual ceremony.

Suprisingly, there are a number of couples who register on the same day, in total 7 pairs. Some brides dress as simple as it is, and some even dressed like go to DISCO club like that. HAHAHAH! Luckily, me being the simplest and nice one! *taktau malu face again*

The guess starts to arrive from 9:30am-10:00am and without further adieu, starts with the photoshooting with them.

After waiting for like an hour plus, finally reaching our turn to be called in *ultimate kanchiong* Everyone being ushered to the room.

And we were placed the center table while the guests busy finding their seas in the big room. Thank god enough chair to accomodate all our guests. And then a malay women came into the room sitting in the middle of us, and proceed to validate our identification Card (IC), then process to read in English, a bunch of english words which doesn't sound like English wtf! It is meant to the vows that should bond both of us together, how can she spoilt such How I wish I could tell her "Can you read properly!, it's my wedding ok!" but... nevermind la... At the end, what matter is the golden answer "I Do or YES". :)
