❤❤Our love story❤❤: Happy Birthday 2013 Celebration

Tadaaaaaaa… Time passing so fast…Without realizing, it’s time for another birthday planning again for my beloved best friend, lover and hubby. It’s 30th August again, and it’s time for me to crunch my brain juice again to think of what I could do to surprise him so hopefully he could enjoy his lovely day, and cherish it for long. Still fresh in my mind on how I planned for his continuously 3 years birthday since year of 2010 follows by 2011 and last one on 2012 birthday. Isn’t it fast that now it’s the 4th year to celebrate his birthday since the day we started as colleague, then as couple, then as friends, lover, then finally now officially celebrating his 4th year birthday as wife!

Celebrated his birthday as colleague/friends/lover for year 2010/2011, then as fiancée for year 2012 (after he proposed to me), and this year as wifey (after we registered). The milestone is so remarkable on how we could spend the time, spend the every precious years, every years! *excited excited*

Ok, let’s back to the preparation for this year. Unfortunately, this year are the year without the help from my buddies (sad T_T), so I will need to do all the arrangement myself. I have started to plan since 2 weeks ago, started with the gift preparation, and the rest of the props needed to SURPRISE HIM, ALONE this year.. (sad T_T again).

1) Gift Preparation – I know he will need this, mainly because all his watches are out of battery and still yet to find time to change the battery at affordable price. At few point of time, he is wearing a watch which is not operating just for the sake of wearing it…Awwwwww… So pity isn’t it? So I’ve decided to get him a watch, a watch that can make him get back the feeling of wearing watch which is operating well! Hahahahah! So I dropped by Setia City Mall, City Chain during lunch someday and after few shops survey, finally gotten him this watch SEIKO watch at RMXXX.XX. LOLX!!

2) Photo preparation – Then proceed to decide to pick some photos that need to be printed, mainly used to recap out memories from Spansion, traveling together, joining families event and finally getting married! After quick selection, manage to get some photos for printing at nearby shop. This photos will be hang under the flying balloons which supposed to float in our room. These photos will be numbered so he could go through it one by one, mesmerizing our memories, hopefully to recall our spark of life being together gather for many man years.

3) Balloon preparation – Gosh! This is challenging as I will need to think a way to travel the helium balloon from shop to home, and most importantly without him NOTICING IT despite of him being in the house with the balloons!!!!! So damn challenging right? Hahahaha! But, me being so creative enough surely will be able to think a way, some way. *being arrogant!* Ok, back to where to purchase the balloons, I have made few surveys hopefully to get it from nearest place as possible to my office so I could get it as fastest as I can after work. Finally, found a shop in Setia City Mall , “Wonder Shop” – the same level of GSV cinema, which is selling all party props (thank GOD!). So on Thursday lunch, I made my way to the shop to pre-order the balloon, in total of 10 colourful balloons at the cost of RM4.60 each (oh gosh! So expensive huh for a balloon!) The reason why those are so freaking expensive because of the additional of liquid which used to make the helium balloon stands longer.

I will need these balloons to keep on floating for at least 12 hours, why? You will know by continuing reading… Originally a normal helium balloon cost at RM3.10, and with the addition of the freaking liquid, it adds up of additional of RM1.50 per piece, that make up RM4.60 in total per piece, with the total of RM46 for 10 balloons! *eye rolling up and down* These balloons will be the props that used to hang all the memories photos selected and printed in prior to this.

After I collected these balloons by end of the day, I will hide them in the toilet upstairs (why toilet?) mainly because he or we rarely visited that toilet for ‘business’. I hope he won’t do it either at least until the next morning. Ok, balloons preparation checked.

4) Fruit cake preparation - After selling the gift and balloons, it’s time to get something for his birthday cake. Throughout the years, I’m getting him cupcakes, jelly cakes or normal RT cake. I would like to make some special arrangement in making cake his year. And I recalled I saw something on fruit cake, REALLLLLLLLLLLL fruit cake which made of 100% fruit, and tadaaaaaa! That comes the idea on the cake, and zooommmmmm I went to get some fresh ingredient for the cake. Basically, the ingredients for the cake will be like this, hopefully it will work out to a great nice fruit cake, as the same the photo.

5) Birthday gift treasure hunt - I also made some initiative to make the gift little bit special for him, whereby to prepare the treasure hunt for him to look for the gift. The first clue will be started from one of the clue hang at the balloons.. Clue for the presents :

DIY-sticker fridge - A place where we stick all of milestone – a cool place to stick all our sweet memories & place all the ice cream potong
ROM photo album - The first photo album printed, which mark our remarkable 29^th September
Drawer storing can food - A place where the cockroaches sleep, makes us always get shocked, every time cook for our dinner
Clothes hanging area - A place where both of us used to get sweat together every twice a week, me on the chair, u on the floor.
Upstairs 2^nd bedroom toilet – a place where we rarely or never used, but only sometime when there is a guest
One of the Tanglung outside the door – “There is a pair of us, the owner put me up very high on Chinese New Year and never remove me since then”
Below bed cosy area – A place where we can sleep together gather watching tv, hugging each other – that’s the speciality of buying it

Then started to hide all the clues around, preventing him from seeing it... Of course without him noticing it during the hiding process. HAHAHA! Ok, all are checked and it's time to share some funny moment during the setup.

The first surprise in throwing him surprise with the customized DIY cake when he back from his badminton session on the night. To make it real surprise, I decided to hide in the room with all lights switched off, then proceed to check out from the house to drive my car to the backyard to hide my car, and I will come in from the back door. Unfortunately, i ARMED my alarm unexpectedly and unconsciously. And once I open the back door.. KRINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! the freaking loud alarm rang/! OMaigat.... I'm so nervous and keep yelling to myself 'Stupid stupid, u so stupid Elaine!' hahahah! I'm sure Vincent will get the alarm call to his phone for maybe 2-3 seconds. Hopefully nothing is burst, and I continue to hide into the room wait for his arrival.

Thinking in my heart, keep on praying "Please don't attempt to catch or beat the thief using a baseball stick! AMIN!". And after a while, he open his door and quickly I jumped out from the room before he started to act violently. Hahahaha! He is surprised and I'm happy!

2nd surprise for the big day is the balloon preparation. After we off to doze off at night around 12pm, I'm trying to find a chance to 'seludup' the balloon into the room. I woke up around 4am, quietly went out of the room and bringing the the balloons very quietly. Goddamnit, the string all are strangled and i will need to clear it off one by one which take me sometime. Can you imagine my feeling of worrying he will woke up ann saw what I'm doing in light off. Finally, all the balloons are up on the ceiling, direct on top of his head.

When I was about to back to bed and continue my sleeping, ALL OF SUDDEN, VIncent turn to me and say "the air cond very cold (with eye closed), and after few seconds, he open his eyes and saw all the balloons on the ceiling, and said "WTF! what are those!!?". I keep quiet all the times, and finally after rubbing his eyes, he finally figures out they are balloons and the culprit is ME! hahahahh! But can you imagine the feeling of worry and scare what are those! LOLX! Anyway, he was surprised and we continue to doze off until the next morning, and started with the camwhoring..

Continue with the finale surprise for the day, "Finding the Gift" treasure hunt. Started with the first clue, in total of 8 clues for hims to look for, finding the gift after finding 8 clues in total.
